use
Used in the manufacture of photographic film emulsion, in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of pharmaceutical intermediates, such as diuretics, sedatives, etc., also used in synthetic materials and synthetic dyes as brominating agents, but also used in water treatment and oil extraction.
Character
White cubic crystal or white granular powder, isometric crystal system, specific gravity 3.203, melting point 755℃, odorless, salty and bitter, easy to absorb water and caking in the air, but not deliquescent, easy to dissolve in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, its aqueous solution is neutral, conductive.
